Don't Blame Cheap Tires for Common Problems
Don’t buy cheap. Cheap tire is always more trouble than it
is worth. Whatever money you save when buying cheap tire is lost when the cheap product malfunctions. These statements are labeled at any form of
thrifty shopping, but when it comes to cheap tires, they are more applicable than any other consumer product. In regards to purchasing tires,
many people will avoid buying cheap tires for fear of a tire malfunction. But what most ignore is the fact that many common tire maladies, have
nothing to do with the cost of the tires at all. Whether cheap tires or expensive ones, common tire malfunctions are usually the result of
unforeseen occurrences or result of driver neglect. Some of the more common tire problems are chronicled in the following text:
A tire leak. When a tire loses air to the point the tire becomes flat, many times it is the result of the
tire being punctured by debris on the road or, in some cases, the result of vandalism. Whether one has purchased cheap tires or not, the common
occurrence of a flat is usually not related to tire cost.
Misalignment. Whether you have expensive tires or cheap tires, if your driving is negligent or lousy, you run
the risk of knocking your wheels out of alignment. When this happens, driving with misaligned wheels will result in tire damage which will occur
(gain) under such circumstances irregardless if the car has cheap tires or not.
Neglect. Whether your tires are expensive type or you have cheap tires, you must provide routine
maintenance, rotations, and inspections on them. If not, a multitude of problems can occur, most notably, balding of the tires. Neglect will
affect both expensive and cheap tires alike and lead to a host of problems that could have otherwise been avoided.
Cheap tires are not the epicenter of common tire problems. They just happen to be the one that suffer the blame most of the
time.
